No trackers. No games.
No trackers. No ads. No analytics beacons. Here's exactly what this site does and doesn't collect, in plain English instead of legalese. It's a summary, not a formal legal document.
What we collect, and why
If you submit the "notify me" form, we store your email address. That's the only personal data we collect, and submitting it is entirely up to you — nothing on this site requires it.
Where it lives: On the server that runs this site, in a plain text file (notify_signups.jsonl). It is not sent to a third-party email platform, a CRM, or any outside service.
Why we keep it: One reason only — to tell you when MBITE lists on an exchange. We send one email when that happens. Not before, not a newsletter, not marketing.
How to get removed: Message us through the GitHub repository with the email you submitted and we'll delete it from the file.
This site loads no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no Hotjar, no Mixpanel, no third-party tracking or analytics script of any kind. No ads. No social widgets that phone home.
We don't collect IP addresses, browser fingerprints, referrer URLs, or behavioral data. Tracking you across the web holds no interest for us.
Like any web server, our hosting environment may produce standard server logs — request timestamps, HTTP status codes, rough visitor counts — for operational reasons such as spotting errors or attacks. These logs are not used for advertising, profiling, or identifying individual users, and they are not shared with third parties.
Cookies and local storage
No advertising cookies, no session-tracking cookies. Here's the little the site does store in your browser, and why.
Theme preference
Switch between light and dark mode and we save your choice in localStorage under the key theme. It's a convenience setting that stays on your device and never reaches the server.
Notify email fallback
When you submit the notify form, the site's JavaScript also tucks your email into localStorage as a fallback in case the server request fails. It stays on your device unless the submission succeeds.
No tracking cookies
We set no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking cookies, no session identifiers tied to who you are. If your browser reports a cookie from this site, it's there to make the site work — not to follow you.
We never see your keys or balances
Self-custody by design
MoonBite is self-custodial. Your private keys and seed phrase are generated on your device and stay there. This site and its server have no access to your wallet, your seed phrase, your private keys, or your balance — and never will.
What the node sees
When you broadcast a transaction or look up an address, the MoonBite node handles that request. As on any public blockchain, transactions are visible to anyone running a node. We don't log queries beyond normal server operation, and we don't tie queries to identities.
