MoonBite miner downloads ======================== Mining is solo and pool-free: you run a full MoonBite node on your own machine and it mines straight to your own wallet. No pool, no account, no third party ever touches your coins. Downloads (current chain: 2-minute blocks, 10 MBITE per block) Windows https://moonbite.org/download/windows Linux https://moonbite.org/download/linux macOS not built yet - build from source at https://moonbite.org/git/moonbite-core Each miner bundle contains moonbited (the node), moonbite-cli, the mine script, a README and ANTIVIRUS.md. It does NOT contain the wallet: the desktop wallet is a separate download (moonbite-wallet--.zip, or https://moonbite.org/download/wallet) and that download contains no miner. The two are never bundled together. Unzip the miner, then run: Windows (PowerShell) .\mine.ps1 Linux ./mine.sh That starts the node, connects to the seed, creates a wallet and mines to your own address. Back up the wallet folder in your data directory (%USERPROFILE%\.moonbite on Windows, ~/.moonbite on Linux). The miner installs nothing, adds nothing to startup, downloads nothing and never asks for administrator rights. It runs only while you leave it running. If your antivirus flags it, read ANTIVIRUS.md inside the bundle first: verify the checksum, then decide. Verify what you downloaded (sha256): Each download ships with a SHA256SUMS.txt generated at build time from the exact artifacts in it, and the same manifest is attached to the GitHub release. Verify against THAT file (and its minisign signature, once release signing is live) rather than a hash pasted here — a hand-copied hash goes stale on every rebuild and a stale "verify this" hash is worse than none. Windows (PowerShell): Get-FileHash .\moonbite-miner-windows-x86_64.zip -Algorithm SHA256 # compare to the matching line in the bundle's SHA256SUMS.txt Linux: sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.txt Release manifests and (when available) signatures are published at https://moonbite.org/mine Binaries built before the current mainnet relaunch belong to an earlier chain and will not connect to the current network.
