# BigCoin (BIG) — Operator & Integration Docs

MoonBite is an experimental, mineable cryptocurrency: a RandomX proof-of-work fork
in the Litecoin/Bitcoin Core lineage. It uses the standard Bitcoin/Litecoin Core
JSON-RPC interface, so most existing tooling and integrations work with minimal
changes.
